John Hardin's Reed Looks to Defend Her 100m Hurdle Season Title

The 100 meter hurdles girls has a certain degree of uncertainty based on the results from last season. Zinaija Reed of John Hardin has the top mark from outdoor 2017 and the top mark this indoor season as well in her first place performance at the Wildcat Classic. However, Alexandra Lawson is the #2 returning athlete but she has moved to Virginia. So the door has opened a bit for Maddie Bloemer and Jasmine Varner. This indoor season, Kayla Jones of Central has gotten the best of both Bloemer and Varner. Central also boasts junior Tahlea Harris for a solid class AAA 1-2. Basically, I have not idea how the second place position will shake out, however Reed has established herself as the athlete to beat!
