Bryan Hudson of Scott County dominated the discus last outdoor season going undefeated including marquee wins at the Pepsi Relays in Florida and the Eastern Relays. He was the New Balance National Indoor champion in the weight throw and won at the UK High School Invitational a couple weeks ago. The question is, who is vying for second? Obie Taylor of Frederick Douglass has the goods to pop off a good one. He competed for Tates Creek last year, but has moved to the new Fayette County Public School. His indoor season has been solid so far, but we will see more when he get outside for the discus (his better event). We have been spoiled with incredible throwers over the last 8 or more years with John Kolb and Landon Young. Bryan Hudson is our next great KY thrower!
