DuPont Manual and Louisville Male have been rivals for years, but this year the rivalry will play out on the cross country course. Seniors Kaitlyn Lacy (Male) and Alena Sapienza-Wright (Manual) come in as the heavy favorites in class AAA and for good reason. Sapienza-Wright is the defending 5K state champion while Lacy took the 3200 meter state championship in the 2017 track season. Lacy has the top time returning while Sapienza-Wright has the lifetime best. This season will be one to watch for the top of the girls class AAA leaderboard
