To no ones surprise, St. X is loaded in the top 10 of returners for the class AAA boys state championship. They return as one of the top teams in the Southeastern United States. They are led by Patrick Schaefer and Cooper Marchal, but the top times are not confined to those two. This team could challenge the lowest score ever at the state cross country meet. Junior Austin Mathews of Paul Dunbar is poised to stake his claim as well after a 4th place finish in the 1600 meters at the state track meet.
