The boys distance scene in Kentucky is stellar. The indoor season showed that as Yared Nuguse (duPont Manual) continued his tear from cross country season. He dominated the mile and was the top mark in the 800. However, Mikah Bailey (Dunbar) didn't look too bad as he had the second best 800 time and placed 8th at NBNI. The story of the 3200 still has some unanswered questions. Alex Mortimer (Tates Creek) had a great indoor season with the 2 mile, but Alex McClarty (North Oldham), who is the top 3200m returner from 2016, did not run but once during indoor season.
