Meet Information

Date: Monday, March 16, 2015

Time: 4:30PM (Coaches meeting done via Listserve)

Location: Walton-Verona Athletic Complex.

Directions from Covington, KY: Take I-75 south. Just past Richwood (exit 175) I-75 and I-71 split. Take I-71 toward Louisville. Go approximately 4 miles to the Verona exit (exit 72). Take a left off the exit and travel about 14 mile. On the left, just past Rice Autobody will be the WV Athletic Complex.

Cost: $75.00 per team. (Boys and Girls are two separate teams). For teams with less than 7 athletes a flat fee of $10.00 per athlete will be charged. Make all checks payable to WVHS Track & Field. There is also a minimal fee for non-athletes and spectators. Concessions will also be available.

Participants: All public and private middle schools. Meet is limited to 16 Teams.

Entries: 1 relay team per event. 2 athletes per field event. 3 events maximum per athlete. B,C,D squads will be charged an additional full team fee. Registration will be done online via ky.milesplit.

Entry Deadline: Thursday, March 12, 2015

Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1. We will use our LYNX system which features FAT. The Sprint 8 timing system will be used for back up for timing.

Awards: Top relay team in each event. 1st and 2nd place team.

Running Events (Listed in Order): Shuttle Hurdles (4x100), 4x800, 4x200, Distance Relay (800, 400, 1200, 1600), 4x100, 4x400.

Field Events: All field events will be finals with 3 attempts. The top marks from each athlete will be added together for team distance/height. All rounds following round #1 will be on a rolling schedule. We will not contest the pole vault.
