Some important things to remember: if after school activities or school is cancelled then the meet cannot happen on that day. This includes as much or as little as one school... if one school cannot compete then all others cannot as well. That is why we are providing lists of schools and locations for you here.

Common Questions:
1. Are the going to try and reschedule or just cancel my meet?
First, their priority is safety and being fair to all competing schools. If one school cannot compete then others cannot as well. I would safely say 95% of coaches and AD's want the meet to happen as planned and if that is not a possibility then they want to reschedule the meet. That is where the issue comes in... If you look at the above schedule you can see many facilities have very few open days and thus constrict the possibility of rescheduling this week.
2. If my meet is cancelled, who will advance to States?
The common sense thing to do and what we know is the case for 5A North is that state qualifiers and the top six on the performance list will advance to the state meet. This is the fairest way to do it since those individuals were already slated to compete in the meet and were favored to advance as well.
