When you think of greatness in Virginia track & field there are very few teams that can truly say they are historically great. With all the great athletes and squads of the past, something began to stick out to us... there was something connecting many of the greats... A lot of them were Bruins! If you look at it, the majority of the great programs in our state have Bruins as their mascot. In particular we are talking about Lake Braddock, Blacksburg, Bethel, and Western Branch. Now, tell me that isn't an elite group of teams.
