Maddox Patterson, senior from Sayre will compete for the University of Florida next year. The Lexington native was the Class A Kentucky State Cross Country Champion from 2009-2011 with a recent finish of 4th overall this fall as a senior. She has been one of the best in Kentucky since 7th grade. She was also the 3200m State Champion at the 2012 Class A State Track Meet. She becomes the first Sayre athlete to ever sign with a SEC school.
