Girls

The wily veteran Maddox Patterson (Sayre) is a senior and should know running regionals and winning like everyone knows breathing.  She is back and should roll through the region like a bowling ball.

The team race is looks to be Sayre's as well on Saturday with Trimble County, Lexington Christian, and Danville chasing.

Boys

The Lexington Christian duo of Aaron Wier and Adam Huff will face off with Camryn Snapp of Augusta for the individual win at Mason County.  All three have put up big times so this should be a solid race up front.

Lexington Christian with their front two and a very solid Andrew Madden at #3 look to be the team favorite.

Girls

Olivia Leet of Fleming County comes in as the favorite in this race with Darian Steele (Boyd County) and Rheagan Sizemore (Mason County) chasing.  These runners are all very familiar with each other and all have been running for several years.  Being it is a veteran group, this could become a race of strategy.

The team race looks like the host school's to win.  Mason County will have Sizemore score early with Cara Woods following behind in the Top 10.  Fleming County is the closest threat to Mason County.

Boys

The front battle of Tyler Andre (Russell) and Elijah Miller (Boyd County) is a great one in the making.  Andre has controlled the Ashland area this year, but at the Jordan Emmons Memorial, Miller stepped up for the win.

Russell's boys have rolled all season long in Ashland and that trend should continue.  Andre, Seth Atkins, and Jax Downs are a front trio that no one else can touch in the region.

Girls

Kendall Hayes (Woodford County) and Savanna Duff (Tates Creek) are the lead runners.  They have faced off twice this season with Hayes winning both.  The gap of roughly 30 seconds should help make the race interesting early on.

The team battle is between Tates Creek and Henry Clay.  Tates Creek brings in three strong that will all compete for Top 5 spots, while Henry Clay has strength with five in the Top 15 or so.  Different levels but close scores.

Boys

Ben Young and his teammate Alex Mortimer are the class of the region up front.  Mortimer should try and learn any last second thing he can because it will be his region next year, but for now it is all Young's.  Young will win, but keep his focus on next week for the KY XC State Meet.

The team battle is Tate Creek's to take with strength up front with five potentially in the top 10.  Paul Dunbar will try and make it interesting but lacks a Top 5 finisher.
