With regionals now in the rear-view mirror we have a much better idea of what the team title races are going to look like and boy are they close! In the boys race it looks like Lake Braddock has everything secured with Monogue and Corbett just competing on another level. Individually though things will be very close between about 6 individuals who all have a legitimate shot at taking home the team title. On the girls side it is now going to be a close battle individually and team wise. With Allie Klimkiewicz now turning it on just at the right time, her and her teammates are not very much in contention and potentially the favorites for states this year. They will have tough competition though with James Madison and Lake Braddock on their toes. Patriot's Rachel McArthur will also be in pursuit as the top seeded 6A girl looking for her first state title as a sophomore.
