Tretez Kinnaird advanced to the 800m Final at the IAAF World Junior Championship in Eugene, Oregon tonight. He won Heat 3 with a 1:48.04 to qualify as the #1 seed overall going into the finals. Huge congratulations to the IU frosh & Butler graduate going against the best juniors in the world and showing them all how Kentucky does it!
He led wire to wire running his second fastest time ever in the 800m. His splits were 53.86/52.18.
The final will be tomorrow night at 7:15 pm Eastern Time.
