Eastern senior Holden Wells has committed to the University of Louisville for track & XC next year. The middle distance specialist was the 2013 Class AAA Runner-Up in the 800m Run in May. He ran new PRs of 1:56.75 for 800m and 4:22.83 for One Mile last spring as well.
This past fall he ran a new PR of 16:05 for 5000 meters and then went onto finish 29th overall at the Class AAA Kentucky State XC Meet with a 17:00.05.
When asked why he chose the University of Louisville, Well said:
It was just a situation where I knew. I liked the atmosphere of the school, I liked the team, and I liked what my academic and athletic opprotunities I had access to.
