64 athletes ran in the KYtrackXC.com 5K Showdown with 44 of them setting new PR's at 5000 meters. The best overall improvement was Caroline Gosser of Presentation with a new PR by 1:12 going from a 20:25 to a 19:12. Danielle Kitchen of Manual also came in at over a minute new PR from 20:15 to 19:08. 11 athletes had between 30 seconds - 1 Minute improvement with another 11 in the 20 - 30 second improvement area. 20 more athletes improved anywhere up to 20 seconds.
